Abuse comes in many types
verbally is mostly how he gripes
to upset you is his daily goal
your crying is his reward to fold

your health is seriously at stake
his head games are a large mistake
a loving woman and a roof over his head
he doesn't know how lucky he is

he'll never change in the years to come
to know that is the step in the right direction
asking him to leave will be your goal
stay strong while he thinks he's in control

the weeks to come will be hard

can't forget Dixie, patches and sweet pea too
they all love you more than food

happiness is what you deserve
from a loving man who loves your words
to wake up next to you in bed
he will Cherish your every breath

affection is what he's able to share
all he asks is that you care
he wont hurt you in any way
cuz shar's here and will punch him in the face

he will know he will have tests
to prove he's not a mess
with a passing grade I'm sure it will be
