Advocation

by Anti Mankind   May 30, 2007

Calling on a new generation
Advocating the arrival of new age
Pretend to forget the heartache
In the tension of a heart in two

Scowl at the night
Deep things in the eyes can't hold you down
Cling to this image
Reach out, and touch others

Grey set on this stage
Common ordinary streets
The star's situation as she appears, jack the show
There's a slight thunder in the air, winds stir up omens

Hopes dwindle as beats overlap
The sparks overflow, the white afterimage
Chasing wind from a lamented past, shunning the future
A signal of provocation

Calling on a new generation
Advocating the arrival of new age
Pretend to forget the heartache
In the tension of a heart in two
