Whenever I Try

by Michelle Fuller   May 30, 2007

Whenever I try to succeed
No one notices what I've done
And when it feels like the pain's over
It's only just begun

Whenever I try to heal my pain
Someone hurts me once more
Leving me lifeless
Cold,alone on the floor

Whenever I try to love
I get left with an empty soul
And all thsat's left inside of me
Is a permanent hole

So I don't want to try anymore
I'll just leave it alone
Because whenever I try
My hearts turns more to stone

Excellent. It really gets to the heart of the frustration of trying hard and never, seemingly, getting anywhere. Just remember not to try for other people's approval but because you want to do it and you will succeed. No matter what others think.
