Best friends and lovers

Two best friends a girl and a boy,
they'd been friends forever,
both of them were very coy,
and never thought they'd be together.

he had a girlfriend and she lost her love,
he sat and held her tight,
she thought god sent him from above,
to hold her all through that night.

one night she got a call at a very late time,
the voice said i know you love him,
stay away from him hes mine,
and don't you ever tell him.

she forgot about the call and went to bed,
but kept remembering the words said by her,
she couldn't get them out of her head,
"i know you love him" over and over.

she woke up at 10 and started to cry,
he freaked out cause she wouldn't say why,
she just sat there looked at him and cried,
you seem to sad so I'll leave he lied.

no don't go i will tell you,
its your girlfriend and what she did,
when he asked what did she do,
she put her hands in her face and hid.

without looking up she said i love you,
the boy looked at her in shock,
he thought to himself what to do,
when suddenly they heard a knock.

then a girl walked in,
she said why are you here with her,
it was his girlfriend,
he said sorry and that he couldn't go on with what they were.

she then said why,
he said you were right about it all,
she also began crying,
he walked her out through the hall.

the girl left crying the other still on the floor,
she began crying harder,
when he appeared at the door,
he said i didn't love her,

not as much as i love you!!!
