The Life Of A Girl

by That1Girl   May 30, 2007

Late nights, boys, computers,
Ah, the life of a girl.
Avoiding the backseat of police cruisers,
The baton and the perfect twirl.

The life of a girl,
Never caught.. most of the time,
Never creating a mural,
Flip flops green, like limes.

Shy, quiet, and unspoken,
Taught to never hurl,
Always pressure to be so hot we're smoking,
Oh the days in th life of a girl.

We were discriminated once,
We were told to make our hair curl,
Men, were smart as a dunce.
Once in the life as a girl.

Now we are respected, saluted,
Our teeth near pearls,
Men are now the ones being booted,
Ah, the dream of every girl.

Told by the world be a Barbie,
We dance, spin and twirl,
But some of we too be Barbie are tardy,
In the life of the now-a-day Barbie girl.

We wish to party hearty,
We twist dance, spin, whirl, and twirl,
We try to eat right and hearty,
But, such in the life of a girl.

Shopping malls, toy dolls, and boys,
We love it all!
We watch the guys with our glorious eyes,
It's sweet in the life of a girl.
