This is so heartfelt. Your emotions bring tears to my eyes. It is so hard to get throug h a day when you feel alone.

It only takes that much to make a persons spirit feel high
it only takes that much to keep them from wishing they could die
If only I had that much coming from you
maybe then you'd understand what I'm going through

I thought you were my best friend, you said I wasn't alone
and I know that I'm not a child anymore and I'm now fully grown
but even grown ups have problems and want someone to be there
just someone to listen, to act like they care

^^^ Being young I try to remember what you have said in this stanza! Sometimes I feel selfish because I forget about my parents feelings because they still need someone to listen to them as well even though they are adults and its not always about me......

I also understand the feeling of a best friend leaving you like this...Its so hard Girl I know it!! I had my best friend leave me a year and a half ago for no reason at all she just dropped touch...BUT even though you feel alone now and you think there is no one to listen...someone is coming....I prayed that those feelings would go away * because I felt them too* and I was reunited with an old friend and we've been best friends for a year now!!
