Turn on the lights

Please turn on the lights
Help me to figure out what's right

I want to be able to help out
But my mind is beginning to doubt

Doubt that everything will be alright
Right now there's no light

It's just dark
There's not even a spark

So I'll just be walking
I'll be hoping

That once I come out from the dark
There will be light on the other end
