9/11. the day in my life

A normal day at school
at least for me
didn't know what was happening
i was only 10.
i came home
to find my mother crying.
to hear the phone ringing
and everybody asking
is Joe okay?[my dad]
He was in the buildings
Crashed by them
The planes crashed above his floor
everyone screaming.
In the middle of the night
around 1:30
i hear the door open
my mother scream
He was Okay
my dad
lived
