Inside my own mind

by CarolRae   May 30, 2007

Deep inside of a dream with no sleep
i can sing with my joy, and with my sadness may weep
emotions unheard, screaming loud with no words
no intrusions, no conclusions. concentrate, contemplate.

in a world all my own, and just for me
no one hears what i say, so they chose to believe
emotions unheard, as i scream out the words
interrogations, motivations. in seclusion, the delusion.

a parrallel universe along side the lies,
here true evil prevails, as the truths never die
for what is secret from them, kept in me on a whim,
simplicity, despicably. there's no hiding, no revising.

in a veiled over land, with no looking glass,
what they grasp in understanding, becomes part of their pasts.
for what is given to them, within me on a whim,
no believing the decieving. impressions and obsessions.

stalking dangerously curious, deep inside my own mind.
always wondering and wandering, wind up clocks going blind.
thoughts for me, only i can see, hear and break free.
fastidious, incredulous. raise the stakes to my escape.
