I Still

by m i s s k a t e l y n   May 31, 2007

It's so hard to face the world
each day thinking that everyone
can see striaght through
this smile i wear

I feel like everyone knows that
I am still in love with you
and knows that my laughter
is the only thing keeping me from tears

truth is you are the only one for me
i love you and you dont really seem
to even care I still care about you
but you just press ignore

everyone knows so how
can you not
this seems to be our
destiny broken up
but its braking me apart

i cant even look at myself
in the mirror without tearing
up because i cant stand knowing
that i lost you

we were so close to getting closer
but you closed that door
and i am on the other side
i am still knocking but you wont let me in

i feel like the world is watching me
each night when i lie down and cry
i feel broken like a big part of me is missing
i cant live without you

why cant you just understand
i still love you
i still care
i still want you to be mine

now you are with her and
your smile is because of her
but i cant help but thinking
of when it was me who made
you smile that way

truth is i miss you baby

    Geez gurl
so much love and hurts. this is deep.

    my fav stanza is

now you are with her and
your smile is because of her
but i cant help but thinking
of when it was me who made
    you smile that way

    this got to me alot.
it makes u wonder if he thinks love is just a game and all the gurls r the pawns ya know...jus like the board game sorry...

Same critics than the other poem i still smth.. but here the story and the details are better so 4/5. i like: the part where u can't stand looking at urself cuz u cant stand knowing
that u lost him. also the part with the door that he shut n u keep knocking but he won't open it. and the last verse: "truth is i miss you baby ".
