Those Old Songs

I used to listen to songs about lost love and such
and i would cry because I missed you so much.

Resembling our lost love, they'd bring back the pain
the pain that made me feel anything but sane.

No longer do I cry when I hear those old songs
even though they bring back all the wrongs.

Our love was lost, lost as in the past
all we needed was to find it again, slowly, not too fast

I smile now when I hear those old songs that used to make me cry
cause they remind me that your back and I no longer want to die.

Together again after nearly 3 years
we are stronger than ever, I shed no more tears.

Clean and going somewhere in life
