Tragedies Within

He keeps quiet
When people talk about their past
His holds to much damage
Which gives him a disadvantage

He won't tell anyone
The tragedies within
That he tries so hard to hide
He can't see how beautiful he really is

If he just told me
Then I could help him
But his tragedies
Will stay untold
He doesn't know
How much weight
My heart can hold

If I tried to save him
From the ghosts of his past
Would the damage that
Affects his now
Come swimming back
Way too fast?

But one thing I know
Is that he has a beautiful soul
