Then One Day

by amber   May 31, 2007

Then One Day:

One day she saw something change
When she looked into the mirror
No longer was there emptiness
No longer was there fear

She didn't feel the loneness
That she had felt before
The reason for this sudden change
She could not ignore

The reason that her doubt is gone
And skies no longer gray
Is because she found a man
To chase the tear away

All the pain that she had felt
Slowly faded by
She knew the lost girl, in the mirror
Was really just a lie

No longer did she feel like
the girl of the living dead
She fell in love, with a boy
And her soul was finally fed

#2: This was quite a delightful read, sweet. One of the things which makes me feel glad in regards to Love is how a person dramatically changes (in a good way) through the aid of his/her better half. Nicely penned, nonetheless. I gave it a 5/5!
