Sun Drenched Fields Forever

by ToAlisSilhouette   May 31, 2007

Well now that I look at this world that we live
I wonder what I can do about my sins
Should I try or quit? Should I cry or sit?
Do I lie or fit? Or just be quiet?
I hear those voices inside my head
The ones who say "you should be dead"
Above all I see the truth
Tormented love and the astounding loots

As I was crossing the plains beyond the horizon
A man was rolling dice that he bet his life on
The lady was singing as she walked down the street
A spectacular sight, a women Id meet
But as it goes and as it will
The beauty of time will not stand still
To keep intact what must perish
On this earth, we must cherish
The time we have and the times we seek
To have faith in another and to believe
The chances we take and the chances we took
Do not amount to the Demons and Crooks
That take what they can and go as they please
So seemingly hopeless but yet so free

Where are they running?
Should I follow?
Their path so stunning
I dare not follow
I'd rather take a chance in sun or bad weather
Then to be an ant in Sun Drenched Fields Forever
