Dust Clouds

by Lost Soul 691   May 31, 2007

Thunderous hooves have found the path again
Dust clouds soar and beasts pummel towards

Turn your head, close your eyes
- or the particles will scratch

Block your nose
- for the devils want in to fill your lungs

Or are you too late?

Shake it off - grapple from the depths
Where were you? Where are you?

Can you find your way home?

This is very well written. The images are great, but it is the darkness and style, the way it is written, especially the last part that really impresses me. Great piece.
