Looking To The Skies

I always look to the sky
When I’m feeling down or blue.
I seem to always ask myself "why?"
That was, until I found you.

Everynight I still look up,
And find the first star of the night.
Immediately I think of you,
And my star starts shining bright.

Everyday I see you in the hall
And I know my heartbeat increases
Then reality hits me as I start to fall,
Breaking my heart into a million pieces.

You’re supposed to be just a friend
But then I look into your eyes
My heart decides to bend
Now I know I’ll always look to the skies.

I look to the skies
And ask the same wish again and again.
I’ll always ask my special star,
Can we ever be more than friends?
