Going Insane

by PoetryHeart   May 31, 2007

These sounds are all around me
I cannot shut them out
They're what made me crazy
And that's without a doubt.

They're loud and shrill and deafening
They're yelling in my ear.
I cannot sleep, I cannot think
I definitaly cannot hear.

These sounds, they will not stop
Like forever pounding rain
They follow me around
And they're driving me insane.

They brought me to this place
And set me in this room
The voices, they did this
They sent me to my doom.

In this room they set me in
I'm lying on the floor
In a pretty white jacket
With a lock on my door.

They give me a shot
Once or twice a day
But the worst part is
The voices............they won't go away
