Follow the Light

by Anti Mankind   May 31, 2007

Just now begin to search
Over splashing waves, for the everlasting world
With overflowing passion, seeking anywhere
Seeking the light yet unseen

When the summer sun shakes my heart's sail
That's the signal to open the door
Swaying on the waves, surpassing despair
Aiming for the other-side of the horizon

A current of repetitious days and mundane clouds
Reflected, a future in you, I couldn't possibly know
Avoid a pain without changing
Dreams of no hope

Searching, for what you want
Answers somewhere ahead
Heart's go on with the moving world
Unseen strengths pull veiled masks over wooden faces

Just now begin to search
Over splashing waves, for the everlasting world
With overflowing passion, seeking anywhere
Seeking the light yet unseen

It was a poem about summer gone wrong, haha.

In the end it had to do with false beacons of hope, misleading you to what you think would be 'paradise' (summer in this case, and then you're in for an extremely hot, energy-wasting, sarcastically thanking global warming kind of zone)

But then, it became a little more morbid, and I went deeper into the fact that PEOPLE -not seasons- will also give false beacons of hope.

That's what the poem is about .. So all the people who comment this poem.. Now you know. And don't give lame comments. k? =]
