The Doorman

by BetterOffAlone   Jun 1, 2007

It hurts to be alive,
you feel pain with each blink of your eye.
You try to hide...
But you can't get away.

And the Doorman --named Life,
only He holds the key.
He is the one who can take life away
or hand you the hotel card of Immortality.

Only he decides whose life goes on
he opens the door and ends a song.
The song once sung of human flesh.
An immortal being, who can't come back.
