The stars shine brightly
In the darkened night time sky
I stare at our flickering star
That shines the brightest of all
Every moment we've spent together
Came rushing to my mind
I fall asleep smiling
I can feel your arms around me
Squeezing the breath out of me
I can hear your every breath in my ear
I know your every thought
I feel your every heart beat
The thump against my back
I can feel your body
Wrapped around me
You're embracing me in your smell
The smell of your sweet sweat
I can feel your grip on me
Get tighter on my waist
I close my eyes for a short second
Took in the moment
Opened my eyes once again
All the feelings were gone
You weren't there anymore
But I could feel the sweat from your hands
Still on my arm
I looked around my moon-lit room
No one in plain sight
I figured it a dream
Until you broke from the shadows
Face lit up by moon and smile
My smile grew big as you crawled back in
Then is when I knew
This fantasy will never end
