Dig Deeper.

by Chelsea   Jun 1, 2007

Its becomes dead silent,
when she enters the room.
Her beauty is spread,
I guess and late flower did bloom.

Blank is the faces,
of the ones that broke her down.
A smile on her face,
no longer covers up that frown.

The man she is with,
is a poor street begger.
He treats her like a queen,
but still everyone questions her.

How can a beautiful woman like you,
be with a man like him.
Still she is silent,
she doesn't want to talk to them.

They are meer statues,
carved with fake smiles and joy.
The pretend to care,
about the life teaching story.

A beautiful woman,
with a hideous man.
What is she thinking,
what is her plan.

Don't judge a book by its cover,
don't judge a man by his clothes.
He is wonderful person under,
he is amazing and only she knows.

Dancing together,
in the dancing room.
Everyone there is hoping,
that he will leave soon.

So a man walks up,
and tells him to leave.
She walks out with him,
they all feel decieved.

For the poor guy,
who really wasn't poor.
He wanted to see what they would say,
and they told him to walk out the door.

So heres to people,
who refuse to look past the skin.
You need to dig deeper,
to look within.
