Too Late

by marilyn marti   Jun 1, 2007

Twisted, clustered, I'm in a mess
tangled, and lonely on my own web
created a darkness, won't subside
anger became guilt tearing at my sides
the angles had no measures, I could not feel my lips
clouds that hovered storms, by the rain I was kissed
I could not find a reason for every cornered hope
teaching me of failure of which I could not cope
I lie here in confusion, a pain that surrounds
and lost in your eyes, I picked you from the ground
I can bring you flowers, and tell you it's okay
but I'm afraid I've lost dear, and it's just far too late...
