Beyond Compare

Please read this poem, it's my favorite and i'd like to know what people think. thanks.

As I fall to sleep
I am greeted by a cool breeze
The night air passing gently through me
I feel the grass between my fingers
And I am overcome by a peace that is beyond compare

There you are lying next to me
Atop this hill beside the ocean
Watching the sky
Paint the vivid picture of space

We listen to the echo in a perfect silence
The faint whisper of the wind
Complimenting the softness in your voice
Speak of the heaven in which we live

I brush the flawlessly pale complexion of your skin
The full outer expression of your innocence

Oh how those baby blue eyes captivate me
With every stare
When they rest on my own
And our faces meet

Hold me in the stillness and just breathe...

As I lie here in your arms
I'll be playing on your harp of heart strings
Sleepsinging you this song of the joy that I found
When I dared to dream.

This calming serenity
Soothes my soul
I slowly melt as your love rushes in with the tide
Releasing every tension in me

Let your eyes water
And mine will gather smiling tears
As we experience this moment in time
Together

I will hold you in the silence...

And as you lie here in my arms
I am playing on your harp of heart strings
Sleepsinging you this song of the joy that I found
When I dared to dream.

How strange it is that hours before this complacency
I was drowning in a sea of uncertainty
Such an intricate dilemma
Oh but you threw me a line
And shined your way through my clouds of doubt
So that our hearts may rest at ease.

Yes, I've got these feelings I scantly describe
And I can't deny the truth
That these feelings
Come from you

And thus I wake and ask myself,
Can this be real?
