Remembering the days you loved me
It's like getting lost in a dream
The sky so blue it's real
The air you can actually feel...
So it seems

I want to stay here forever
Live a life I could only imagine
But wait and wait and still I wonder
If it will ever happen

Days slip away, weeks follow suit
And soon the months are done
Years hit the road, broken hearts left unsowed
Missing when you called me "Hun"

Your life meant the world to me and mine meant so little

Words we'd say at the exact same split second
Coincidence, No I don't reckon

I'm awake from that dream now
It's so far away
Though my great wish is that I

However I have doubts
And they're always reassured
Every time I sense that place
I cry but can't be heard

Not crying in sadness,
Not guilt, sure not madness
But for moments my heart
Filled up with gladness

Times like that remind me
Of the night you said so kindly
I was your Mr. Right
That was my summer highlight

Now a-days time passes so slow
Realizing I've got nowhere to go
Working and giving
But sure as hell not living

When I found the one thing that meant the most to me
I was so afraid to lose it
I changed and held on too tight, too soon
That's exactly when I lost it

Though this load I can carry
The world, it's so scary
Not knowing where to run,
Hope one day you'll know me
I pray that you show me
How two hearts can be made one
