[Note: this isn't exactly a poem, but it is the opening for my poetry journal]
Above all, remember the values of Truth, Honesty, Freedom, Friendship, and Forgiveness. These are the qualities of truly good people. To seek truth is to learn Life. To be honest is to uphold the Truth. To be free is to be free from others, as well as yourself, and know the responsibilities that come with such a great Power. Friendship is the antithesis to loneliness, so it is important to be a good friend. And Forgiveness, perhaps the Heart of it all, will help save us all. These are the traits of Peace.
