But it was only a crush

What was the rush?

I have my whole ahead of me
Why start now?
I wish you would see
Why you hurt me and how.

I thought it was love
How stupid of me
I got caught in the rough
And drowned my love in the sea.

I'm happy being single
My life has started again
I know now not to mingle
Within the lives of men.

    I like the topic. sometimes we get confused with the feelings we have. how can we know when it is real love. especially when it's real early.. i tend to get afraid of those feelings. cuz i don't wanna feel that way knowing that the other person might never get there... :(
    particularly liked the 1st paragraph and that: "I thought it was love
