Pride and Prejudice

by Isabelle   Jun 2, 2007

First glances weren't appealing,
nor was the secondary praising,
but the third time you said you loved me,
I knew you were the one.

I knew that the first time with you,
we hardly knew each other.

The second time was just a bore,
you knew I couldn't stand you.

As they say,
the third time is the charm,
and I have found it to be true.

So let's put all of this behind us,
the teasing,
and the tears.

Without you,
I can't live like I did before,

Let this be a time for pride without the lies...
before the pride and the prejudice.
