Forever Scarred (287)

by NinjaGirl   Jun 2, 2007

I know my love for you could be heard
On Neptune, Mercury and Mars
It echoed on the moons
And reverberated of the stars.

My love for you twinkled
Likes stars in the Kuiper Belt
But you bit back hard
And I knew how the teeth of a viper felt.

Now I'm sad, wallowing in my misery
I'm as blue as the Havasu Falls
I used to be so free
But now I'm locked behind brickwalls.

I am forever scarred
It seems to happen in a pattern
First I'm up and then I'm down
Spinning rings around like Saturn.

I'm wading in a sea of tears
I'm a Queen of it like King Neptune
And I'm as dark
As light is the moon.

Wow, this is a interesting poem to read, yet the message is the same, love hurts. 5/5
