Rhythm Of Hatred (275)

by NinjaGirl   Jun 2, 2007

The rhythm of hatred
Plays lowly
The song to this tune
Sings slowly.

Reason is lost
This war is all but finished
I have no conscience to find
As my heart has been diminished.

You threw open the curtain
And stood upon the throes
You threw out my love
To be fed on by crows.

In the dead of night
Trying to be myself
I pack up my things
And escape from this hell.

Should I leave? Run away?
Or would I be sinking towards a new low?
If I left, ran away
Then nobody would even know.

The rhythm of hatred
Plays softly and slowly
I sing to the tune
Of a little girl, lonely.
