In the end everyone leaves
Perhaps to save from heartbreak
I saw people come and go from my life
And you just had to be fake.

We might go to the same school
But to me you're gone forever
I can't even look at you
For fear that I'll remember.

I gave you up to save me
Else I would've suffered a break
It's not what I gave that hurt you
It's what I had to take.
