The Bigger Picture

by xoxShorteexox   Jun 2, 2007

He cut you to pieces,
you were his masterpiece.
He ripped you to nothing,
you were his toy.
He lied to your face,
you believed it all.
He crushed your heart,
but you still love him.

The bigger picture,
should be sinking in.
He's a monster,
and you just let him win.
You let him use you,
like you were just a fad.
You become his puppet,
move at his every command.

He made you scream,
yet say he didn't hurt you.
He put new scars on your skin,
yet you're "fine."
He made you trust him,
but never meant a word he said.
He has your wrapped around his finger,
don't you understand?

The bigger picture,
still hasn't went through your head.
You're just a trend to him,
that he used as he pleased.
You let him take it all,
and you didn't say a word.
You've been an angel,
who's fallen from pain.

He's cutting your heart out,
and you're letting him.
He's ripping you at the seams,
and you're just standing there.
He's showing off your crimson blood,
and you're just so numb.
He's the master,
and you're the puppet.

The bigger picture,
is you're six feet under ground.
You let him use you,
now you lay in a grave.
You let him put you through pain,
you watched as he made you bleed.
Now think about this,
you let him do it all.
