"But how many more innocent people will have died?
War goes on, more people are killed. All in our thirst for oil."

Factual, but nevertheless poetic in its own, unique way. The structure to this piece is appropriate for the subject matter, and I feel that through a build up of atmosphere using repetition has created a solid and well penned poem.
    Very well done :)

I like the message you spread in this poem. You kept it simple and to the point. This almost seems more like a speech to me than a poem, however. I felt the title fit very appropriately, and you used strong facts to support your statement.

This poem of yours is one of those works which conveys a meaning without even creating a vivid imagery. Although its consistency was rather intermittent, the message based on fact wins through its blemishes. Further, the distinct diction and overall presentation/development were done relatively well.

    Nice job. =]

We say we live; "in the greatest generation"
So yes, we live, in this so called; "greatest generation".
^ there shoulds be ";" in those two lines. (I'm pretty sure, maybe so though? I'm not good with semi-colons. Lol.)

Overall you did an amazing job with this poem.
It is so true, what a worthless, useless, & minor problem we are facing.
Though, we need oil for certain things.. we can certainly live without it in order to keep the ones we love and respect alive.
This poem has great meaning to it
At first I was like, eh.. We gotta go to war for this stuff. But, when you think about it, we don't have to do anything. Especially if we have to kill and be killed for it.

    Loved it.

Very well written and true words. The poem has its own style. You have described how our lives have changed. Great max points from me.
