What happened to the girl in second grade?
With a blonde head of curls and eyes that turn blue in the rain?
What happened to the girl who sung to Brittney Spears?
Who had a funny laugh and who didn't swear?
I know that years may change a face but why must she pin holes in her face?
Now the girl that i know walking down the hall,
Is nothing i wanted to be with at all,
Shes all dressed in black with short skirts that never cover crap,
She hangs out with boys that are over age,
Drinks till the Early hours of next day,
She lies she cheats she even smokes weed,
Oh why must she be so different...did change effect me?
(not my best of poems but i thought this could mean something.My x best friend turned into a person like this.I mean we spent 7 years as friends but i broke it off because she wasn't the best"seed" to be hanging out with.But I'm just asking...did change only effect her?because truthfully i feel the same..but maybe just a little bit wiser)
