Sights of a Funeral

by Izzie   Jun 2, 2007

The flowers arranged around her
decorated by beauty
she lays in her dreamy coffin
like a still rose

no weather can provide
an ounce of happiness we all weep in sorrow
the family grows a bond

a untold story
truly unfolds
we all come together
forged on this unpaved road

blocked by may obstacles
we all are left to be-hold
the silence of the air
grows heavy

waged on each other shoulders
we all walk on pins and needles
whispering to ourselves
wondering what our lives hold next

the cold sets in freezing everyone to the bone
the fury on feelings
can't be held

upon many memories
we all hold
our untold goal
