Sand in the Wind

As the wind washes away
Another foot print in the sand
It takes away
Another man's story
A woman's history
And some part of a person's life

It takes away
Part of the path
Someone chose to take
As their path
In life

And at one point
They might have met
But how will we ever know
For the wind has washed it
Away
