Dance of Love

by George   Jun 2, 2007

I feel your arm upon my own,
And suddenly we are alone.
Slowly swaying back and forth,
The others to us, gone hencefoth.
You rest your head on shoulder soft,
Catching somtimes fierce's waft.
My head to yours then do I touch,
And hope you do not shrink from such.
My arm set gently on your back,
And tears of joy, my body rack.
The music plays but I can't hear,
I only know that you are near.
I bring you close, and hear you breathe,
Your heart I feel, and mine you thieve.
Your body then pressed onto mine,
A feeling I fear to resign.
The music slows, the curtains close,
Each softer note, deals harder blows.
I never want this time to end,
So every moment I extend.
The warmth and comfort given me,
Is something precious now you see.
The music ends yet we remain,
Hoping still to see again,
That world made for only two,
That special place for me and you.
