but you lost your fight.

cancer destroyed you
and took you away
for months i'd just cry
i had no words to say.

i wish i had been there
but it was too hard for me
i cant help but feel guilty
but at least now you're free

free from the chemo
and all of your pain
i still wish you were here
cause its just not the same.

i'd take your place
if there was a way
we all miss you so much
especially today.
