Tiny Ones

by Finalgravedigger   Jun 3, 2007

You may think I'm crazy
You may think I'm dumb
but I care for these little ones.

Putting a road in their home
running them over without a fuss
destroying what was once alive
they lay flat and
turn to dust.

You think so what and look at me
as an insane one as
I shoo them off the road
talk to them as if my own.

But you don't understand for
they live like us,
they breath like us
they want to live just like us.

These tiny ones I care so much.

I agree!!! I read your poem and found it quite an easy read and a pleasant piece. Keep up the good words. May the ebb and flow of your thoughts and emotions find a good spot to call home.

I agree. Everyone looks at me like i'm crazy when I get sad because there is a dead animal on the sidewalk or road.
