Take Anything You Need

by marilyn marti   Jun 3, 2007

Staring into the sky, trying to count the stars
I've reached for so much faith and somehow I'm still far
The days are passing slowly, my bed feels so cold
There's nothing to look forward to, no one there to hold
The silence speaks much louder, or so I have learned
Of all the words you threw me, not one word was heard
I cannnot stop this heartbreak, things can't be the same
If we can never heal, it's me that you can blame
I'm sorry for your tears, for everytime I lied
I promised I would change, but hope was dead inside
I'll ask you for some sympathy for I know I am alone
I never meant to fail, but these are things you should know
You can take the rest of my heart, anything you need
but keep me in your arms when the pain starts to creep.

I like ur style! the way u write and the particular moments that u describe which are so true n i can relate to:
"The days are passing slowly, my bed feels so cold

The silence speaks much louder, or so I have learned

not sure what happened there, it's like u purposely killed that relationship? 5/5
