Anorexia

Anorexia the devil invades my every move
my best friend captivated in its grip
struggles to let herself free
screaming for the agony to forever stop

It becomes like the suction of a vacuum
it sticks to your skin and grabs hold
it wont budge unless you fight the grip
and pull away for your chance at freedom

anorexia is like black paint on a canvas
dripping with no life, no color
slowly spilling out in all directions
unable to ever make a complete painting

anorexia is the frown on a small child
it makes you depressed and uneasy
you want to change the frown to a smile
but you know the frowns been caused by deep pain

anorexia is the dying scream of a solider
like bombs exploding 24 hours a day
people are dying around you
but you don't care you want to join them

anorexia is like being slowly tortured
the pain is unbearable and agonizing
slowly your mind starts to go and your insane
and your just begging to die

anorexia is my best friend
she helps me deal with the pain i feel
anorexia makes me feel real
anorexia will forever be my answer
