Bright lights, golden diamonds

by xXallieXx   Jun 3, 2007

Stars making their way
Throughout the darkness of tonights sky.
Bright lights, golden diamonds
Reflecting on small opal eyes.
The eyes of a little girl
Searching some escape.

Escaping grey bottles,
Escaping brown water,
She has found golden diamonds.
Out of the darkness of yesterday,
She waits for a new beginning,
Some way to start over.
Some way to forget the past.

Searching for some light
Searching for some hope
She has entered a world that is not ours.

There all is perfect.
Love is a rose that has no sprikes.
Dreams have no boundaries.
Violence doesnt exist,
Rejection is not known.
A false reality that makes everyone happy
A false reality that ends
When a new tomorrow arrives.
But when night falls,
When those bright lights,
Those golden diamonds appear
It reopens its gates.

The little girl has fallen in its traps.
She lives in lies,
She believes in happiness,
She still has dreams
And still has hope.
No, she cannot belong to our world.
She must be what we call a dreamer...
