I saw a guy
He was like an angel from above
I begged that he be mine

I questioned why

I stood on the edge of a cliff
And begged it to shove
But once again
'No', said Love
I stayed up
All night trying
To figure out
Why Love has left me crying
All I wanted was a man in my life,
This man named Joe

And Love said, 'No'
