Mother's watch

by Reminders Torture   Jun 3, 2007

Sitting here beside you,mom.
death's doorstep you lay.
set me head upon your wrist.
i bow my head to pray.

i block out all my pain.
concentrating on deeply.
the tick your watch reveals.
and loss i'm sure to feel.

the time for you is near.
to enter the heaven's gate.
i would sit here by your side.
until our journey is complete.

months have passed since you've gone.
my wounds are still healing slow.
i would do so much to hear your voice.
seeing your smile glow!!!
