Beneath The Stars (Quatern)

As she lay beneath the stars with him
Lay in the tall, parched grass
She stared up in the sky
She was happy, at last!

She held his hand, firm in hers
As she lay beneath the stars with him
They were both extathic, together
She stroked his hair, again and again

She felt everything was tolerable
Everything would surely be OK
As she lay beneath the stars with him
She wanted to sit here all night and day

He wasn't just a boy to her
He was the love behind her grin
She wasn't just a girl, either
As she lay beneath the stars with him

A Quatern is a poem with four stanzas, 4 lines in each stanza. The first line repeats in the second line of the second stanza, the third line of the third stanza and the fourth line of the fourth stanza

    Nicely writte. You could expand on the idea a little more, making it more captivating and a better read. You had a few spelling mistakes, but thats easily corrected.
    My favourite line would have to be...
    'He was the love behind her grin'
    I thought it was just beautiful and Heart touching.
