One year ago today changed my life
I gave birth to my pride & joy
so handsome and sweet
You were a precious Baby Boy

I remember that day like it was yesterday
When I first looked into your eyes
My son you are wonderful I could see the love and passion
The touch of your little fingers took me by surprise

God has given me a precious gift
One of mother nature's one of a kind
My son I will be your shadow your guidance
I'll never leave you behind.

Now you're growing up fast
You're starting to walk
My little boy you're one of a kind
I love your jibber jabber talk.

God sent me and angel
Who is special and true
Mama & daddy are so proud
To have a wonderful son like you.

Pretty soon you'll be starting school
And coming home to play
You'll be watching football with daddy
While mama will be watching you grow up each day

18 hrs of labor was so hard
But it was worth it all the way
because you are my sunshine
You'll always be everyday

As you grow up my son
I'll always watch over you
Giving you the strength to hold on
Happy 1st birthday too

All I ask of you son, is be true to your heart
Never let negativity get the best
because of you my son you are smart
You are better than the rest

So don't take things for granted my son
Even when you're older You'll always be my Little boy
