Burn My Being

by Lyssi Lori   Jun 3, 2007

Watch the flames burn my being,
I can't believe what I am seeing.
What was once a nightmare is now a terrible reality to face,
Burn the one who hurt you, for they are merely a disgrace.
They're constant reminder of what will never be,
How far can one push? I pray for thee.
Let me burn and rot inside your soul of no return,
Because I cannot provide you with the love that you yearn.
Sorries are growing old, there's nothing new to say or to be done,
When there's nothing left to do, I guess it's best that we run,
Run away from the heartaches, the past, and all of the pain,
Be reborn, and wash away the sins in these cleansing tears we call rain.
