Never Existing Love

by Lyssi Lori   Jun 3, 2007

I hope you enjoyed every second that you had me spellbound,
I was in search of love, but instead it was you that I found.
You led me into a perfect, breathtaking world that I should have known never existed,
A paradise so tempting, I know not a soul that could have resisted.
I willingly melted with your words, but I should have known,
Words are only words, your true feelings were never shown.
I should have known that I'd be left heartbroken, is there no one out thee for me?
I should have known you never loved me, but love is blinding, I guess I didn't see.
I could not see any mistakes in your, you were a piece of art, flawless,
To think that you might like me, I must have been senseless.
You're perfect in every way, I didn't have a chance, but I gave it my all,
You must have had a good laugh as you watched me fall.
I'm still entwined in your palm, I'm your play thing, a puppet, only trying to please you,
I'm left with scars, wishing for someone to save me, too bad that wish will never come true.
