Perfect Eyes.

by Brittany   Jun 3, 2007

Today we sat together,
Our eyes connected,
Neither of us too shy,
Neither of us breaking the glance.

Yours eyes were a unique shade of gray,
Flecks of blue and green hidden,
The sun glittering about them,
My face reflected in them.

When I looked into those perfect eyes,
I could read you,
I could feel you reading me.

In the moment,
I felt something I have been needing to feel,
Something that erased all uneasiness,
Something that had been missing.

I could tell you love me,
And strongly,
I could tell I love you.

Now I know where I stand,
Where I'm meant to be,
It's in your arms,
Looking into your perfect eyes.
