Cry to the Moon

by Coeur Cassa Sage   Jun 4, 2007

From the start of day one
To a small little girl
The horror had begun
To her small little world
Hurt and afraid
Were childhood days
Alone and confused
She was always accused
Of everything

And she cries to the moon
Tells her the story
Of a brave little girl
Who has no glory
She bleeds from her lips
All the things that haunt her
Exposed are the lies
Lay behind her eyes
That cry fears of the world

Cry, little girl cry
Cry to the moon
As the flowers of June
Come to life

Scream, little girl scream
Scream to stars
Uncover all of your scars
From the pain

Cry to the moon
Oh cry your heart away
All the memories of yesterday

Cry to the moon
