Nostalgia

by Michael   Jun 4, 2007

Why must you always go?
Seems once the silt settles it is disturbed again
Why can't you stay here for more than 3 months with out going away for a while?
I know it isn't your decision but your parents
Sadness engulfs me, and oozes out into my auora
Bathing in the sea of sorrow as my love isn't here
The skies cry for me and I become drenched in loneliness
My umbrella blown away by the wind of your parent's will and fate
Sitting here, letting puddles form below me
The puddles of my nostalgia for you
I miss you, need you, want you
Nostalgic state of lamentation
Though I know you'll be back soon
We know we'll be here together forever
Forever is no longer too long

I read your poem and found it quite an easy read and a pleasant piece. Keep up the good words. May the ebb and flow of your thoughts and emotions find a good spot to call home.
